My name is Kellie Byers, and I am originally from Detroit Michigan. I am an up and coming music executive and currently running an entertainment company out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I graduated from Hampton University in May 2004, and went on to start my career in sales, and have been there ever since. I am currently a full time student a Full Sail University enrolled in the Entertainment Business Masters program. While in school I am working at Staples, Inc as Facility Solutions Specialist, and still currently running an entertainment company comprised of a record label, and promotions company.
This blog was created to give people an understanding of the the ups and downs of an music executive trying to make a name in the music industry.
